Question regarding cash jobs on application, background check
Hey all,
I'm curious about the impact of having a cash job on my job application. Basically, I worked three summers in high-school for a carpenter close-by; one of the summers, I was on the books, and the other two I was paid in cash. I put on my app that I worked there for all three summers, and included a reference, but I'm concerned about the pay statements indicating that I only worked there for one summer.
Should I contact my recruiter to clarify this, or am I making a big deal out of nothing?
