Recruiter advertising my role for 10% more than I am on

My company is recruiting for a role that is identical to my own. I saw on LinkedIn that the recruiter for this role is advertising a base that is 10% higher than mine. My base was last benchmarked in March 2022 which was 2 months before the LinkedIn post.

I am pissed off given the obvious and how my boss said they wanted to pay me more but couldn’t get budget for it, when we discussed it back in March.

For background, I work in the deal team at an infra focussed fund in London.

Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how did you approach this with your boss/internally? Advice welcome
