Recruiting firms that rejected you in the past

I interviewed at a few places last year where I got very late in the process and really enjoyed the whole process, yet it didn’t work out in the end. I’m wondering if it’s worth reaching out to some of the people who interviewed me in the past that I had an especially good chat with, to try to gain any sort of advantage going forward and signal that I’m still interested. Is the door closed forever after the first rejection, and would this be a good use of time? This is for FT recruiting btw.
