recruiting for boutiques FT and for summer internships at BB's

Hi,

I am doing a Masters at a target in Europe next year and was wondering about the upcoming recruitment. As I only have a couple of boutique IB internships under the belt, I feel like I should recruit for summer internships even though I am in my final year. The problem is that if there is no return offer, I have nothing to fall back on after the SA stint.

I understand it's not a cool move, but would it be viable to apply FT to boutiques (and accept an offer if possible), then simultaneously recruit for summer internships at BB's.

The plan would then be to complete the internship and get a return offer (and defer the boutique at the last minute). Otherwise start at the boutique after the SA stint at a BB.

Any insight? Thanks for the advice
