Recruiting is painful

Recruiting is fucking me up. Feels everyone has got the offer for 23 SA except me. I know there is no meaning to complain on WSO, but I barely know anyone who is also recruiting at this moment and it’s been too difficult for me to take this alone. I hesitated but still decided to say this out so I would feel much better. Sorry if I bother your eyes.

Still going to have two superdays later this week and I will try my best.

Don’t worry too much now & focus on your superday(s) for now!

I have a mentor that struggled before breaking into IB back in the 2000s (> 100+ applications) and when I was stressed out for my SA he always ask me “how many jobs do you need?” and tells me to focus on the next interview. Sure enough managed to land ONE superday and got the job moving forward.

Thank you so much! I know I only need one job. But going through so many stages and got rejected at the final one is always kind of difficult to get over for me. It means doing everything over again. I will keep my heads up. Just hope more companies will open applications in the following month. I feel I'm already at the end of tunnel for next year's recruiting
