Recruiting Timeline Throughout College

Can someone give a rough outline of when IB recruiting starts? From my current understanding you use your freshman year to get a freshman summer internship then sophomore year to get a sophomore summer internship. But when does junior year IB internship recruitment start? I’ve heard some stories about recruiting for IB as a freshman. I see some people on LinkedIn that already have their sophomore and junior internship set up. What is the timeline? I am only a junior in highschool, I’m just trying to learn for the future.

Freshman Internship: 2-3 months before summer starts

Sophomore Internship: 3 months for a general finance internship, ~6 months for a BB sophomore internship (I would look this up but I think I'm close)

Junior Internship: Starts Sophomore year in December, hits peak in April, and scraps are left by November of Junior year.

- You might be recruiting for both your sophomore and junior summer at the same time which can be interesting but just make sure to prioritize your junior internship if there are conflicts.

- A freshman year internship isn't a prerequisite for your sophomore year internship so feel free to do something adventurous (Unless you're at a nontarget in which case a freshman internship could definetiely help you in the long run). Anyways, school finance clubs should be enough for your soph/jun internships. And of course keep your GPA as high as possible especially in your freshman/sophomore years.

Edit: Sophomore BB internship appears to be closer to 8-12 months prior
