I went in for first round interviews at a boutique and sent thank you notes to everyone I met with, including HR and the admin who organized my schedule.
The interviews were on Friday. This morning (Monday), I got a response to my thank you note from the admin, saying:
"Thank you for coming in on Friday. I will let you know if there is anything more we will need on our end here."
Game over? Or benign?
....Fairly standard response.
Not sure how that is considered drama. It was the admin who replied. Admins have no say and are not involved in any of the decision making. Most likely, she has no clue if you're still in the running or not given that the interview was on Friday.
All I can say is the second sentence is grammatically incorrect. Back office intelligence transparency is strong with this bank.
Thanks guys. I get neurotic after interviews and freak myself out. I was hoping to hear something today, but didn't get any word so I'm growing pessimistic.
First rounds usually have a delay before you hear back. Generally over a week while they figure out who else they are bringing to the final round
Looks benign to me, they would have said "we have considered other options" or something like that if its a auto rejection.
