Relocating in 2022 - how to prepare?

  • Will be relocating in 2022 to another country (CEE), speaking the local language fluently, already entitled to citizenship. (Can't do now as I have some interesting projects waiting for me)

  • Would be looking for mid-senior positions in IB/ER/PE/AM (yes, broad).

  • Already connected to seniors, MDs, and HRs at firms I am targeting in that country.

  • My profile by 2022: 1-year stock exchange analyst, 2 years IB and ER analyst (yes, both), MSc Acct from a top uni.

What are the ways I can better prepare for the relocation? How do I make sure that I will get the job before I relocate? The market I am targeting is not the most competitive, but still, wouldn't want to arrive and play around for 6 months. Any advice is appreciated.
