Research to sales what are the chances!

Hi everyone!

need advice from the professionals ;) I have been working as an economist for about 4 years now! I am however thinking of moving into something like FX sales...i have the market knowledge, will be able to draft market commentary on my own rather than ask economist and research analyst to do that for me ;) I believe i will do well in sales because i am out going, very good with people, work best under pressure and simply like doing business!

i was told a few times that once u work as a research analyst you are stuck there and basically its very hard to move out!

I am nevertheless willing to put in the hours, to learn as much as i can and i am so determined to get into sales! i dont have a sales experience! what are my chances....any advice!!!
