Resume writing

Has anyone heard of putting a time span GPA on a resume such as list your GPA for your junior and senior year? My overall GPA is kinda low, 3.1 (41 classes) since i'm in engineering but my junior and senior GPA is a 3.4 (22 classes) and my senior GPA is a 3.6 (11 classes). Does a time span GPA help? Is it an acceptable format for finance jobs? If so what would be a good format to use?

No, but if you took more prerequisite classes in your junior and senior years your major GPA will likely be higher - put that on.
