SA Offers: Top BB Markets (Think GS/JPM/MS) VS MM IBD

I am currently considering which summer internship offer to accept. One is S&T at a top BB and the other is IBD at a MM, both in London. I plan to go into IB for FT but am not sure what I want to do for the long-term still. Is it worth giving up the M&A experience for the prestige of BB on a resume, which is not directly transferrable to what I want to do upon graduation?

These kinds of questions always confuse me. If you don't convert BB S&T, you have no relevant IB experience i.e other BBs and bigger MMs wouldn't take you seriously for IB. Whether or not you do convert, you have no job in IB (which is what you want to do).

If you don't convert MM IB, you at least have transferable experience EVERY firm will value. If you do convert, you have a job in IB (which is what you want to do).

I guess knowing what level of MM firm we're talking about would help but honestly, this seems like a no-brainer.
