SA or FT NYC Recruiting from London?

Hi all, I am about to start my 2nd year of a 3 year degree here in London and hold a 2024 IBD SA offer (again, in London). I am a US citizen.

I have decided that I would like to pursue IB opportunities in the US once I finish my studies. I would rather not go down the internal transfer route as at my bank that would mean I would come over having spent 2 years in IB, probably missing the boat for most ideal buyside opps.

Should I apply to SA or FT? I am aware that SA would be easier, but I’d have to do a 1-year masters in order for my graduation to be 2026.

Any thoughts would be very helpful!
