Salary of a branch manager

Hello, I'm in a similiar situation in europe, workin as a branch manager for a commercial bank. Since my chances to get into the investmentbanking field aren't that great, I consider to focus in my position but to move on in my career and switch to the states.

I've checked some career pages from huge commercial banks in the states. they of course are in need of branch managers for different areas, like CA or NY or the IL area.

Do you guys might know the average pay of a branch manager of a well known bank in the states? I know it depends on how many people are under one's authority, let's guess I'll controll about 50 to 100 people in a large branch?

Thanks for any help provided!

I've forgot... Over here you will get also a bonus if your team got a record or is above the measurements. Are such things also at the states? Or other things like Company Car and so on?

My mom works as a BM for a large regional bank in Houston. Here, there aren't too many branches with 50-100 people. Most branches employ 20-30 people.

Her pay after salary and bonus is a little over $100k for being a top performer. She hits all of her performance goals and bonus pay incentives every quarter. There's no company car but she has won quite a few trips. She usually wins at least one a year if not more often. Some places she's been the past few years are Accopulco (spelling?), Cozemel, Cancun, San Francisco, and New York.

thank you for the answer Texasmade! Since I'm not from the state, I really can't judge the $100k a year? That is about 68k EUR .. but I'm not familiar with the cost of living in the states. But for a branch manager there are also some other oppunities like regional branch manager, where you control all of the branches in a state like texas, california or whereever. Do you have any numbers for those positions or links to pay tables? I've did a google search but with no usable results. Thank you anyway.
