The thing is, I also don’t want to include my bonus as I got fucked pretty bad and don’t want it to be an anchor for my next place. Do you have any tips on how to approach this?
Not had to deal with it personally but two things spring to mind, firstly, don’t lie or try to misrepresent/inflate - there was a thread a few weeks/months back and it never ends well.
I wouldn’t expect a recruiter to ask why it is what it is, but just be cautious of trying to spin it too much, you never know if they have spoken to other candidates from your current place/group.
