SATs? Lol
When interviewing for any finance job, do they ask for standardized test scores such as the SAT or ACT?

i have been asked in the past, yes. and also, most online applications for the BB's require you to tell them SAT scores
how heavily do they weight them; I'm going to princeton (Current high school senior) and I got a 2150 on the SAT and a 34 on the ACT. (I'm not a minority, and I don't play a sport lmao)
You think those scores would hurt/hinder recruitment to a BB or upper-tier bank?
?
Dude you're worried way too much about this stuff. If you're going to Princeton you will be fine.
They might. I personally got an 1850. This was back when it was out of 1600.
That's pretty good, but I got an A+ on my SATs. So suck it.
hahahahahahahahha!
My friend got a 1600 (On the 2400 scale) but just left the 1600 on without specifying the scale. He now works at GS TMT.
wut
I didn't get asked my scores in banking interviews (although some people did), but in doing post-analyst recruiting I got asked relatively frequently.
If you don't have it on your resume, and you appear dumb, then they will ask
You'll be at Princeton and you want to work in finance... Have you read Liar's Poker?
got a bb sa s&t offer with a 2050. anything above 2k, or 700+ on the math and you are fine. higher could help, but your scores wont hurt
edit-nevermind. it really doesnt matter. higher helps, but lower wont necessarily hurt. and yours are high enough where they definitely wont hurt.
36 on act math 3 that's on my resume
I don't get what's so "LOL" about this
I took the SAT in middle school and used the score for my college applications. I don't even remember what I got back then, so I've been using my gmat score instead (much more recent), and so far, nobody has complained.
I got a 1950 and still got two BB offers. Doesn't matter. SATs are bs anyway. Got to final rounds with GS, MS reporting those scores and made no diff imo
Not to hijack, but I took my SATs a few years ago and some banks ask for my scores. I honestly forgot what they were (probably around 2k) since it was three years ago. How do I go about finding out? I forgot my user and password to collegeboard as well. I emailed them but they never responded....
I got asked about SATs at maybe 1/4th of my interviews.
