As a freshman at a Canadian semi-target, how would one go about recruiting for an internship (idc if unpaid) at a search fund?
What are some of the best strategies to secure an internship and how should I prepare for interviews? What will they cover?
Find a list and reach out to the partners. They will happily take unpaid students who will cold call/email/prospect all day.

Out of curiosity why is this your first target? Because the answer is to start cold calling search funds, and at that point I’d suggest you do that for boutique asset managers that do some kind of PE investing.
