Seeking help, application after 2week with no response 😭

Hey guysI'm an international student from a private school in NY state, ranked around 30 in usnews but not a target one. Recently I been networking with some alumni bankers, and most of them are well, willing to offer referrals.. while it's been a quite long time since I applicate to those banks. I had 4/20 on BOA, 5/12 on Barclays, 5/12 on credit suisse, 5/14 on MS, mostly in equity research position but I haven't heard any of them since the hirevue things finished. Shall I send some follow up to the HRs? Or wait for couple weeks till target school finished recruiting?

Yes you definitely should - emphasize to HR that you’re a busy guy and they need to prioritize your hirevue to the top of the stack.

Thank you for replying! My friends told me that they usually waited for one or two months before receiving first round interview, which made me hesitates about wether reaching out to HRs, and now I think I should reach out to them asap since many headcounts are already occupied

Sure I can babysit your kids while you poop. Hope the irritable bowel syndrome gets better!

Interesting, sometimes I can’t identify is this American humor or not

You changed your original post. You were talking about babysitting and ibs. Don’t know what babysitting has to do with IB. Also don’t know what you mean by IBS. Did you mean IBD? I was making fun of your post.

Recruiting is wrapping up at a lot of places. You gotta do more than babysit to stand out now lol
