Seeking Summer Internship- In Need Of Advice
Hi, I am new to WSO and have very little experience with forums. To begin with I think you should know a little about me. I am from Denver Colorado and a college athlete at possibly the smallest university in the United States. I am in the process of getting a Bachelors degree in Finance and have been applying for summer internships specific to undergraduates relentlessly for the past few weeks but have yet to receive an interview opportunity. I am only a junior so I am hoping I have plenty of time to gain experience before I look foolish applying for entry level positions. Honestly I would be interested in any type of finance experience opportunity- Asset Management, corporate finance, financial analyst, anything.
Can I get some advice as to how I land a summer internship? Iv googled "Finance Summer Internships" in a hundred different variations and I need a different approach. Anything at all would be extremely helpful. Id also appreciate a little information as to your current position and how you were able to gain entry into the finance field.
Thanks for your time!
