Semi-Target school student with below average GPA
Hey guys,
I have become a bit disillusioned with my employment prospects given my GPA of 2.73. I am a senior statistics major at a semi-target with business coursework. I don't want to do IB or consulting. I am set on seeking a position as a financial analyst for a F500. Unfortunately, my poor GPA and lack of internship experience leaves me with few options. Does anyone here think it's still possible for me to break into finance and score a full-time position? I know I have few options because FLD and MBA programs are quite big on GPA. If I up my networking and interview skills, could I gain employment after graduation? Anyone have an similar success stories? Thanks guys.
