Sending emails to Alumni

Hey guys, I have sent about 11 emails to my schools alumni last night. So far 3 people have responded, but I definitely think 1 or 2 more people will hopefully respond this week. I sent the emails to their personal emails that were in the directory and didnt want to call or send to their work emails.

I was just curious what the usual response rates you guys had when you emailed school alumni?

i was very humble and only asked if they had wouldnt mind answering a few questions about their industry and thanked them for their time.

but yea only 3 out of 11 so far replied. Im happy because thats 3 more connections than I had last week and one of them is seems very helpful and is a CTO a company that I like.

Unfortunately an MD from a BB firm hasn't gotten back to me I really would have liked to talk to them.
