Senior starting late for FT Offers

Hey all,

I've been around this board for a while just reading through, but didn't actually start pursuing the IB field until recently.

Currently I am at a non-target school, UC Riverside, with a 3.38cumgpa and 3.51majorgpa (1 hour away from LA). I am aggressively cold calling and emailing however i was wondering if any of the following opportunities would help me.

1) There is an accounting internship (academic year internship) available around my area and a VP I am networking with said that a PE / Accounting internship beats a PWM internship because of the nature of being around Financial Statements.

2) My cousin, a VP at JPMorgan IBD, offered a guarantee interview at streetsolutions (streetsolutions.com) for a business technology analyst summer internship because he knows the recruiters and principals personally. Supposedly SSI is used by major IB and CB.

3) Cold call for an academic year internship an hour away in LA (im guessing my chances will be slim though. My classes for next quarter are only Tuesday Thursday and my MWF would be free and Id be willing to make the trip)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have no relevant experience, besides currently holding a President position in a business fraternity, and being in it for 3 years.

Thanks!
