IMO, at the application stage you just have to sit tight. Most likely you didn't make the cut, and you'll never hear about it. Don't rule out all hope - it took a bank 3-4 weeks to get back to me after applications closed once. But dedicate your energy to applying elsewhere.

Hi in my view if you are selected company hr would have updated the status ,i suggest you to wait for some more time else you contact the hr and enquire the status but be polite and stay calm.

Yes, if you are saying its been 3weeks for applying and they have sent you mail also that they will contact you as application process will be completed. So yes you can mail to respective HR and ask them about how the process going and till what time i have to wait for else i can start for applying elsewhere.

This process is called as follow up,so it will be good if you can do it in proper way. Here i have gone through similar article which tell you how to follow up, SEE HERE:- http://careerfunda.info/3-best-career-advice-follow-ups-get-job/</a">3 Best Career Advice On Follow-Ups to Get The Job
