Should I go to NYC?

I have an interview in NYC this Friday (3/13) and I am wondering whether it is worth going. My school currently has put two-week quarantine on all students who travelled to Westchester over the break and I am guessing the city will soon follow. The recruiter emailed me to say that they understood if I did not want to travel due to the virus but my status as an applicant thereafter was unclear. So, do I take the risk of missing two weeks of school and catching the virus or do I play it safe and stay home. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

The question I’d ask is how much do you want this job? If it’s one potential offer out of many, definitely don’t go. If it’s your top choice, I would definitely still go.

Unless: 1. you live with aging (over 65) parents or grandparents - not fair to expose them to that 2. You have a pre-existing condition that weakens your immune system.
