Should i pursue a second bachelor's degree in UK?

Hi,

I have been on WSO for quite a while now and finally decided to register as i have a hard question i'm struggling to answer on my own. So a little about my self, I'm 23 years old, living in one of the Baltic countries, last year i graduated with a Bachelors degree in International economic relations from a good university(in international rankings it sucks) in my country. Did two internships during my studies in a commercial bank and got a job right after graduating in merchant banking division in sub custody settlements team.(yes it's back office...). To be honest the job is not bad, good colleagues, salary is ok and we are getting a raise at the end of the year, but i cannot see any future opportunities in it. So i have applied to a non target in UK for a BSc in Computer science and mathematics (i'm quite interested in machine learning and have some experience in C/C++), with a goal to get in to IB or a trading firm after graduating, but now when time has come to leave i'm in doubt whether this is a good plan as i'm going to be 27 y.o. from a non target, with not so relevant experience and with two bachelors degrees.

Of course i should answer this question by myself but I'm looking for an advice from somebody who may have had a similar experience or who can just advise if there will be an opportunity to get in to the industry after i graduate?

Thank you

A bachelor degree in the UK will set you back 9000 quid per year in tuition alone. Not worth it for a degree at a non-target in my opinion. Especially if you already have one. You might be seen by employers as a "professional student". Why don't you go for a Masters degree in Finance instead at a target or semi-target? This would be cheaper, and more appropriate.

Thank you for your advise Boreed, yes money is also a big issue here. I'm actually thinking about going for a masters degree next year instead of a bachelors. Not sure if i will be qualified for a target because my gpa is not so good, i was not really in to studying for the first two years, but now i'm totally different. Is there a way to get accepted at a business school with low gpa? Would GMAT help? Could you please name some semi-target schools in UK or maybe in some other European countries?

You killed the Greece spread goes up, spread goes down, from Wall Street they all play like a freak, Goldman Sachs 'o beat.

You should be able to take the prereqs(two programming courses, algo and data structure, systems, and one or two more electives) and go straight into a MS in Comp Science(and take two years).
