Should I put a scanned signature on my cover letter?
I was looking through some templates for Wall Street cover letters, and some would end by saying:
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
[Signature]
Would anyone really want a scanned signature on the cover letter? I dont want to come across as a douche... but if people like it then I would consider it.
What do you think???
You won't come across as a douche (probably), but it's entirely unnecessary.
i'd think it was douchy. risk/reward is not there anyway
It's overkill... No need to include a scanned signature.
Do this all the time and don't seem to have any issue
You don't need to do it. I've seen if before but it seems to be pretty rare.
I do it, but with a mac you use the camera to scan in a sig easily.
