Should new grad cold call boutiques n banks for internship or FT position?

Hi there I am a recent college grad n I would like to work in the S&T division. I only discovered I wanted to do this until my last semester of college so of course I never prepare for it. I attended a non-target with mediocre GPA. My question is should I cold call and try to get a S&T internship for a year (is this even possible?) and then go for my master degree or should I cold call and try to get a FT?

Thank you for your advice!

By calling, it could never hurt you.

I say do it, have some fun with it. It could be good practice for the future b/c there can be a shit ton of cold calling in finance.

Good luck.
