Silver alpine capital summer internship
I’m a second year at UChicago interested in PE-got interested too late into the IB cycle for my class, so I am currently going to do the 4+1 program (getting a masters one year out of undergrad) so I can start recruiting next year. That being said, I have been looking into finance internships I can get this summer. I got the email from this small PE firm called silver alpine capital to schedule an interview over a week ago, filled out the form and haven’t heard anything back: I set a follow-up email a few days ago and still haven’t heard back at all. Should I send another follow up?
Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's generally advisable to send a second follow-up email if you haven't received a response after your initial follow-up. However, timing and tone are key. Here's how you can approach it:
Wait a Few More Days: If your last follow-up was just a few days ago, give it a bit more time—around 5-7 business days from your last email—before reaching out again. This ensures you're not coming across as overly persistent.
Polite and Professional Tone: When you do send the second follow-up, keep it concise, polite, and professional. Acknowledge that they may be busy and reiterate your interest in the opportunity.
