Soph Internship search??

Alright can someone break it down for me as to how I'm supposed to be looking up internships? Do i just go sophomore 2024 finance internships or go down a secret list that someone has??

Also am I late because I know people said IB is already closed but I'm aiming for capital markets so would this be ok timing? And am i still able to aim for IB in middle markets or boutiques or are they also closed..

last thing, if anyone has any must reads on wso lmk cause im still confused abt this website

Thanks

Hey how’s it going, I’m kinda in the same boat right now. What I would recommend is going on LinkedIn and seeing the companies that people interned for in the their sophomore year. I’ve noticed that a few banks like Goldman, BofA, and RBC have offered sophomore roles for next summer.

capital markets are still gonna be filled by juniors who didn't cut it for ib. Outside of that a good amount of banks still have open soph 2024 dei programs that haven't opened yet, there are lists on the sight no ones going to look them up for you. most middle markets and regional boutiques don't really have a dedicated timeline, email all you want.
