sophomore BB internship -> 2023 summer recruiting

hi all I have accepted an offer for a sophomore BB summer internship (diversity program). as of now, Im hoping for a return offer and eventually FT offer. I know that 2023 summer recruiting is starting pretty much now. I am sure it varies firm by firm, but can I apply to the 2023 summer internship for the same firm? or do I j have to wait until end of summer to see if I get a return offer? and if I have to wait for a return offer, how bad would it be if I just wait to see if I get a return offer and if I dont then recruit junior fall? hopefully this Q makes sense, thank you!!
