Sophomore Internship Choice Help

I just received an offer for a 2023 PE Summer Analyst at a small-ish (last fund raised around 500-700m) firm based in the Midwest (my home base). It's a great internship program, and I'd get live deal experience. I eventually want to recruit for BB IB on the East Coast. Is it worth delaying this offer to try and get an internship in NYC or Boston, or would the difference be negligible when it comes to recruiting this winter?

Would love everyone's insights.
