Spring Weeks 2027

I saw that Blackrock already opened their applications and I think JPM and Rothschild will also open before uni starts. My question is if I should apply now or wait for uni to start and then apply?

On one side I heard that applying early increases your chances by quite a bit, on the other side I could I could join some investment clubs at uni to show passion for finance.

I’m more inclined to apply before uni since I already show my passion for finance through an pre uni audit internship and a couple stock pitches that I have published on substack.

Do you think applying once uni starts will give me better chances or is applying early more important since I already show passion for finance?

Thanks to any responses :)

Based on the most helpful WSO content, applying early is generally recommended for Spring Weeks, especially for competitive firms like BlackRock, JPM, and Rothschild. Many users emphasize that applying early can significantly increase your chances, as spots may fill up quickly due to rolling admissions.

Since you already demonstrate a strong passion for finance through your pre-uni audit internship and published stock pitches, your application is likely to stand out even without university finance club experience. Waiting to join investment clubs might not outweigh the advantage of submitting an early application, particularly if you already have solid finance-related achievements to showcase.

In summary, prioritize applying early to maximize your chances, as your current experiences already reflect your enthusiasm and capability in finance.
