S&T Sales vs Corporate Sales vs Mutual fund Wholesaling

Hello quick question here.

Is there a big difference is selling bonds (S&T), Banking products and platforms, and traveling around as a wholesaler of mutual funds/annuities for a place like Prudential?

Or is it basically the same thing. Is the sales side of S&T more prestigious and require less used carsalesmen-like tactics?

Can anybody shed some light? Thank you in advance
