State of the European PE recruting market - fully dried up?

Currently an MBB second year with PE/transactions experience and fitting profile for all consultant friendly PEs (i.e., prior IBD/Corp. Fin internships, target University, Euro language speaker).

I feel like recruiting markets have completely dried up (for non-diversity at least, hearing some female colleauges still getting a lot of tractions from likes of EQT).

I used to have tons of headhunters reaching out for PE stints (a lot of not so desirable positions included in  lower MM / small cap too) but as of now I have zero traction. Looking at my firm, I also see zero exits to good funds whereas previously we always had some strong performers landing some decent MMs while a select few also placed into LCs every year.

Is banker recruitment also difficult at the moment?

Currently 2nd year BB analyst here with Euro language, I feel it's slower than it should normally be but I am still getting calls for some MFs or UMM (one every other week). What other funds are your female colleagues recruiting for?

Interesting. Not really sure about colleauges - don't think they are even recruiting but they are telling met that they get tons of inbounds.

For me it is very weak. I have to say I never really received a lot (if any) MF requests but I always was in the mix with most reputable MM and lower MM funds. Those just don't come around anymore.
