Stay in software sales or move to IB? Advice?

Just graduated this past spring from a state school (top 50) with degree in finance. Always wanted to do IB since junior year of college but realized that that was already too late to get an internship. I’m in software sales now which for those who know make great money a couple years down the road but Ive always wanted to get into banking. Is there any way for me to get my foot in the door to a small bank or boutique? Don’t want to get a masters. Should I just stay the route of software sales? I really wanna be able to make as much $$ as possible and banking is definitely a top career option to do that. I’m in NYC currently also. Any advice helps, this is constantly on my mind… thanks!
