Strange situation with MD

Just less than 2 weeks ago was supposed to have a face-to-face meeting with an MD at a PE fund (pretty big, but not BX, KKR, etc) to discuss summer internship possibilities.

The morning of the meeting, the MD cancels sayign that work came up and that we will reschedule. He emails me to tell him when I'm free and I respond with some times for later that day and the following week. One week later, there is no response to my email, and I follow up via email again, reiterating my availability, and thanking him etc.

It's now been a few days since my follow up email and I'm curious as to what you guys would do. The last time he communicated with me was 10 days ago. I'm a bit worried that I might lose the opportunity.

Should I call and follow up or continue emailing him? Thanks.
