Suggestions for where to hold informational interview
I'm looking to set up some places to hold informational interviews in midtown. I figured at a nice coffee shop or maybe a restaurant would be a good place to meet a contact but I don't know of any possible places. Can anyone suggest some places that you've been to that would be appropriate for meeting a contact for the first time?

When I had those, they suggested places to meet up.
Typically the other person will suggest a location convenient for them (they're the ones doing you the favor) after you request to take them out for coffee. It's not that big of a deal. If the bank is in Midtown, I can almost guarantee you they'll take you to one of the 4 dozen Starbucks around.
