RJ, HW, D&P are the ones I know off the top of my head. Other smaller boutiques & LMM firms like DA Davidson might still be open or not even started, and lots of smaller shops/lesser known balance sheet banks have summer analyst programs but they're all glossed over on here because this site is obsessed with prestige. There's nothing wrong with starting off at a place like Regions, Stephens, Citizens, etc.

tldr they have other divisions that give loans and other products/services that require maintaining a larger balance sheet,

boutiques provide advisory only, barring exceptions
