Summer Analyst at Citi

Hey everyone,

I have an interview coming up with Citi for the Internal Audit (Summer Analyst) role in London. The invite says it’ll be behavioural + technical, and it’s with a VP and a Director.

Would really appreciate any insight on:

  • What technical topics do they actually test for IA (controls/risk, audit approach, SOX, basic accounting, etc)
  • Typical question style (case-ish scenarios vs direct definitions vs CV-based)
  • Best behavioural examples to prep (teamwork, conflict, influencing, attention to detail, integrity)
  • Any tips for interviewing with senior interviewers (VP/Director)

If anyone’s done this process recently, what came up, and what would you focus on most?

Thanks!
