What are the chances of getting a summer associate internship if you have investment banking experience but enrolled in a master of accounting and finance programme instead of an MBA?

Zero. An MBA and an MSc in A+F are not the same thing. There are explicit requirements from firms that for Summer Associate positions, you must be enrolled on an MBA programme (usually from a top school). You can apply for a Summer Analyst role, though.
can I ask why you’d go from IB to an accounting higher degree to go into IB again when you know it’s nearly impossible to do so?
It was an internship experience in Nigeria 2 years after undergrad.
But because you need to be enrolled in university to break into a UK bank, so I got into a master's program
