Summer Associate Internships
I spent the past 6 yrs at a large hedge fund (operations dept). I just left for a top 5 mba program. I am looking for a summer assoc internship (corp fin). However, since I started in the evening mba program while working, I'm not eligible for on-campus internship recruiting. As a result, I have to find the internship directly. Would you recommend contacting HR depts., finding alums (if so, are associates or VP/MD more likely to help), or some other method?
