Summer Associate without work experience?
Hi, everyone!
I am currently considering pursuing a master's degree at a target school. This degree is a dream, but I am worried it may affect my chances of getting into IB.
I don't have much experience outside of academic activities (no summer internships, only undergraduate research roles that got me published in a few prestigious journals).
I recently found out that the advanced degree in question would make me qualify for Summer Associate programs. Can one get into a Summer Associate program without experience but with a top, relevant degree?
Thank you all for the attention.
You will start as a summer analyst
You won't get looked at for summer associate rolls if you don't have work experience before the masters. 98% of the time it needs to be at least 3 years. 1 out of every 50ish profiles I see the person has 2 years. Never seen less than that.
Summer associates for MBAs bub
lol unless you are a native american woman that went to HYP undergrad, there is 0% chance you are getting looks without any work experience.
