Summer Internship Advice - Help/Input Appreciated

Hey guys, I'm a freshman in college and have an offer for an unpaid equity research summer internship position in Shanghai for a firm called UOB Kay Hian. Was wondering if anyone knew about this firm and whether or not it's reputable. Also, would this position be worth not receiving pay for an entire summer, or would I just be better off enjoying the summer or finding a different paid position like PWM?

Here's their website: http://www.uobkayhian.com/

Anything for freshman yr summer> nothing. Quasi-high finance > corporate general gig abroad xp. > Staying in local town (assuming you live in one of the many small towns in America) Also just from a human standpoint, what an opportunity. You may never get to do something like this in your life again. Go explore, enjoy and learn. I doubt you'll have AS MANY opp.s to go check out Shanghai and work at a respectable firm for 3 months as a "test". GL
