Summer internship final round interview - still no invite!

So here's the deal: I had a telephone interview for a SA gig in London with one of the big custodian banks (think BNYM, SS, Northern Trust, Citi) back in March and they had passed me to the next round. Initially I was informed the final round interview was to take place in April but they never followed up and gave me vague answers as to when the interview would take place. I kept calling and mailing them but I have still have no reply. The people from HR whom I have contacted are all in India so besides the fact that I can barely understand them, they constantly claim they have trouble locating me in their systems. The SA gig starts early July. I've been thinking about contacting the EMEA head of HR but I have doubts as to the results this might yield.
Any advice monkeys?

Well if the final round interviews were to take place in April, it's more than plausible to think that you didn't get the invite after they did some more thinking. You know, since it's June and all.

With that being said, it can't hurt to call the person. Who knows what the result might be.

Last week of May I called the HR in India once again and they told that I should expect to have my interview second week of June and I specifically asked if there are positions lef in the group that I applied for and the lady said that there are.
