Summer Internship HELP

I had some interviews for a summer internship, BNP Paribas (Operations), HSBC, Citibank, PwC (Consulting), Kraft foods. Today I had an offer from Kraft to work at the finance department (sales and controlling analysis) and they told me to answer till Thursday. What should i do? I will call tomorrow BNP and the others, but I dont think that they will answer so soon.

No, I have an offer only from Kraft, but the others have not answered yet. And I have to say yes or no to Kraft HR till Thursday, that's the problem. The position in HSBC is about securities services or corporate/retail banking, Citi is maybe about private banking, not sure yet, because they said, that they will decide the position given their needs. Why Kraft > BNP Ops? Kraft's position involves "analysis of promotional expenditure, customer profitability analysis, debt management service". My ultimate goal is IBD or S&T.

Corp. Finance experience never hurts. Of course there are stronger internship gigs, but then again there are also a lot worse internship gigs. Good luck

Now I have also an offer from HSBC, Risk Recoveries (preparing statistic reports, collecting the required documents, communication with lawyers etc.), they told me it's about customers' loans. Should I choose Kraft or HSBC now?. Thanks for any help monkeys.

Retail banking debt collection unit? All up to you but this sounds like bullshit to me. No offence and don't take my word for it.

What do you want to do in the future? Think about that and try to find components in your internship that would match your future target job.

How is recruiting for summers still going on..

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

I might actually lean towards the Kraft position here. I realize that CorpFin is outside of your IB or S&T goal, but it seems like the Kraft position might supply you with more relevant experience that would help you lateral to an IB position later on.

As someone else mentioned above, you need to look at the position descriptions and decide which has more relevant experience. Honestly, I don't really know much about either position, but it seems like the Kraft position might be a bit better, but it's hard to say.

Do you have any further job description that you could post for everyone?

Regards
