Swiss Citizen studying in the UK - job in London after graduating??
I am a Swiss citizen and have lived in Switzerland my whole life. I have decided to pursue my Bachelor's degree in the UK (target school for IB).
I'd like to work in London after graduating. How likely is it that I will get a job in London given the uncertainty of Brexit and the fact that I am a Swiss citizen?
Theoretically, Switzerland should not be affected by Brexit negotiations because we are not part of the UK.
Probably very high. Most people are overestimating the effect Brexit will have in London specifically. Also remember banks in London will always want people to cover DACH markets so you'll be good (provided you speak German). Finally, if it's really a concern, after 5 years you can get your 'permanent residence' and you'll be untouchable (from an immigration point).
Should I mention my immigration/citizenship status on my CV or cover letter so they know? Or is it not necessary?
Unless being Swiss requires a visa (which I don't know) then no. They'll probably know if you state 'nationality: swiss' on your CV
