Taking a data analytics job (applicable to finance??)
Was recently offered a job with modest salary as a data analyst in New York. (The work is particular to pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing w big data).
This is my only job offer (graduating senior from top25 school).
Could doing a job like this for 1-2 years be of use if I am considering a future in Finance/Equity?
My concern is that I will become stuck in a very specific field, but a job is better than none, right?
(Other options are summer business program (Tuck) and try to find internship/other FT offer..go back to school)
Background:Econ and math major, mediocre gpa(3.2) one legit internship in management consulting, not much else on resume
Any help greatly appreciated and hopefully I can reciprocate!
