Target Off-Cycle or Summer for Boutique IB Internship?

Hello,

I'm currently a sophomore at a west coast non-target UC. I've been interning at a search fund remotely over the last quarter and am now trying to recruit for boutique IB for the upcoming summer.

Through digging through some bank websites, I've seen that some boutiques offer off-cycle internships which has led me to the question: is it be too late to target remote winter/spring internships at these banks or is it smarter to focus all my efforts on summer? Would it be weird to offer my availability in cold emails as both remote for winter/spring and in person for the summer? I appreciate any input.
