Thomson Reuters

Dear all,

Many thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

I would really appreciate your opinion on the issue below:

Do you think Thomson Reuters is a good start into investment banking industry?

I am a 2010 graduate from the UK top business school . Really struggling to get into the industry . I worked as intern with Thomson Reuters as a data analyst for Fixed Income securities . Now I have a chance to move on into the headquarters in London (Canary Wharf) . The position requires day-to-day communication with Thomson Reuters financial products users (Eikon) , helping them out with learning and knowledge. Do you think it is an experience , which is appreciated in the industry?

Many thanks,

Tondory

Every time the bloomberg, thomson, etc.. rep comes to the office he is trying to network to get in the door. Unfortunately for the Thomson guy his product sucks for the most part. The last time the bloomberg kid was here he was wearing a contrast color American Eagle shirt, I wouldn't wear those if you do take the job.
