Thoughts on wearing a navy blazer to a job interview/work?
I have a blazer that I use for formal occasions. Is it a good idea to wear it for an interview/work at an investment bank?

Only if your goal is to not get the job. Wear a suit.
Like just the blazer without matching pants? I wouldn't recommend it. I can see what you're trying to pull off but it will most likely do more harm than good.
I say dress conservatively, but have a small accessory that's unique and stands out a little that will help interviewers remember you. Easier said than done, but if you do it right, it'll really help you stand out.
Wear your class ring. At the interview's conclusion, stand up, look the interviewer in the eyes, and give the ring two firm knocks on the desk in Frank Underwood fashion.
At the end of the day, what you wear won't really matter unless it hurts you. I don't really see upside.
Yeah keep it simple and wear a suit. Blazer is fine for cocktails/networking but I would not wear it into the interview.
