Rising sophomore here (at target in US) with non-relevant (to IB) but FP&A experience at very big asset manager - I want to intern part-time at small IB firms. I'm drafting up an email right now and wanted to ask actual people here that work in IB on what they look for in an email like this? I know it needs to be concise and straight to the point, but what are some things I should definitely mention in the email?
